The collection is devoted to the popular Siberian costume, more exactly to its magical side. Vorogeya in Russian means "fortune teller" and it brings to life elements of traditional costume which are linked with ancient magical customs of pagan Russia. The extremely long sleeves, the chunky hoods, the colorful patterns are the main elements of the collection. Vorogeya's colour spectrum is vivid like that of its original source. The word “red” in Russian means “beautiful”, which is why there is a lot of this color in our traditional costume. The trapeze volume came from the popular dress in this region called "sarafan", always worn with a shirt. I brought to the forefront the traditional embroidery based on the symbols of the Slavs, reworked with forest and shamanic motifs, and it was printed on the fabrics of the collection. Ethnic, mysterious and picturesque Vorogeya will send you on a mystical journey to pagan Siberia.
